Belinda Smith ~ Schools Workshop Leader                                    

Belinda is the energetic person who visits schools in term 1 and 3 every year, doing music workshops with children from Reception to year 5, encouraging new students to Come and Try YAV.

Music has played a big part in Belinda's life. At various times, she has learnt piano, violin, guitar, clarinet and singing. She has sung in choirs all through school and university, and throughout her adult life.  Belinda has been involved in YAV in many ways - from Junior Choir tutor, to General Manager and she accompanied 1CC on their 2008 international tour.

Belinda has a Bachelor of Education and a Diploma of Teaching in Early Childhood Education, majoring in Music. She has conducted primary school choirs and youth and adult choirs.
